Description
The seeds damage on the Japanese cypress, Chamaecyparis obtusa caused by the stink bugs (Hemiptera : Pentatomidae) was investigated from 1989 to 1993 in a seed orchard of Shizuoka Prefecture. Seeds were damaged by stink bugs from July to September. There are annual changes of damage by stink bugs. A peak of seeds damage by stink bugs was in August or September.
