Description

The new type finishing mill was installed at Hoshizaki Plant large bar mill in order to reorganize Daido Steel's production system for small lot rolling products and to improve the quality and cost of tool steel and stainless steel.<br>This mill is composed of H-V 2 stands which roll bars in reversing direction. It can produce wide range of size and various section such as round, flat, square and etc.<br>It has been in successful operation since start up in August 1991 and producing high quality and low cost bars.
