抄録

The triglyceride composition of lipids of black cod, Erilepis zonifer, was investigated by highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas liquid chromatography (GLC). The fatty acid composition of the triglyceride was also analyzed by GLC.<br> The fatty acid composition of the triglyceride was characterized by a high ratio of monoenoic acid content (71.7%) to polyenoic acid content (2.3%).<br> In HPLC, the triglycerides were separated into seven fractions on the basis of their partition numbers. Each of these collected fractions gave three to eight peaks in the GLC chromatograms according to the carbon number of the triglyceride.<br> From these results, it was found that the major triglycerides of black cod lipid are those of C-52 with 2 double bonds, C-54 with 2 double bonds, C-54 with 3 double bonds, C-56 with 2 double bonds, C-56 with 3 double bonds, and C-58 with 3 double bonds, amounting to 54.2% in all.
