説明

1) Behavior of periblast nuclei in the morula and the blastula stages of a freshwater teleost, the medaka, Oryzias latipes was observed in vivo and in sections.<br> 2) They first appear in the early morula, 64-cell stage as free nuclei in the periblast.<br> 3) They increase synchronously and mitotically until the blastula stage.<br> 4) Their synchronism lasts longer than that of the division of blastomeric nuclei, probably because of their rather even environmental conditions compared with that of blastomeres.<br> 5) Their mitotic division ceases at the blastula stage, suggesting a disturbance by the epibolic movement.
