Description
In 1958, Hirose Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. achieved the practical use of wet–laid nonwovens by use of Japan’s first synthetic fibers. Manufacturing of our nonwoven applied traditional TOSA WASHI technology and the basis weight of our ultra–lightweight nonwovens can be as low as 2 g/m2. The most notable characteristics of our nonwoven rest with its single polymer constitution which fully exerts properties of the fiber. Also, it’s possible to change the fiber composition or the physical property of the nonwoven by customer request and use a variety of applications including water treatment membrane support. Further, we have successfully developed the new nanofiber nonwovens manufacturing method; Named “electro–bubble–spinning method”, which achieved substantial productivity improvement with this nozzle–free nanofiber manufacturing process. The nanofiber nonwoven has a great potential of technology innovation that may expand applications of conventional nonwovens.
