抄録

Genetic control of immune responses against Salmonella enteritidis antigen was studied in mice by the estimation of delayed type hypersensitivity and antibody production.<br>Observation of foot pad swelling using various congenic mice indicated that the reaction of delayed type hypersensitivity against S. enteritidis antigen was controlled by I-A subregion of H-2 region and the magnitude of the response in responder strains (I-Ad) was further controlled by non H-2 region. However, antibody production to the same antigen was not genetically controlled by H-2-linked immune response gene(s).<br>Differences of genetic control between these two immune responses were also discussed.
