<p></p><p>　Intra -aortic balloon occlusion (IABO) was used for hemorrhagic shock under the diaphragm. We used different vascular approaches to hemorrhagic shock due to ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. (Case 1)A 65 -year -old man reported abdominal pain and was called for emergency medical service. He had a failed cardiopulmonary arrest during transportation；therefore, cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed. He was diagnosed as having a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. For hemostatic instability, we inserted an IABO catheter from the right femoral artery. (Case 2) A 54 -year -old woman was transported to our hospital in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest. She was successfully resuscitated and was diagnosed as having a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. We inserted an IABO catheter from the left brachial artery. We report an IABO access site in 2 cases of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm.</p><p></p>
