Abstract

The solubility of hydrogen in pure liquid iron has been measured as a function of pressure and temperature by the sampling method. Sieverts law is obeyed at all pressure up to one atomosphre. The logarithms of K(=H⁄\sqrtPH) and the standard free energy of solution of hydrogen in pure liquid iron may be expressed as:<BR>(This article is not displayable.
