Taking the previous results into consideration, a careful study has been made of both the effect of oxygen concentration in liquid iron and that of temperature on the equilibrium constant of the reaction,<BR>(This article is not displayable. Please see full text pdf.) <BR>Furthermore, from the data in the range of extreme by higher oxygen content which were obtained by using alumina crucible for the similar equilibrium, the solubility of oxygen in liquid iron in the presence of alumina was approximately estimated as follows:<BR>(This article is not displayable. Please see full text pdf.) <BR>Finally, thermodynamical calculations were done on the basis of the data obtained in this work, and showed that they were in good agreement with the reliable data in recent literature.
