Abstract
A setting up the reversed field configuration by using the Heliotron C type field is proposed.<BR>A Joule heating current flowing in the Heliotron field results in a helical current and amplifies the B7 field of the Heliotron inside the plasma column, so that the field Bz external to the plasma is reversed by the rule of flux conservation if the conducting metal shell encloses the plasma discharge.<BR>This fact is supported approximately by the MHD theory including the generalised Ohm's law. The preliminary experiment on the reversed field configuration in the Heliotron field is carried out and shows the good results.
