抄録

Injection molded specimens of isotactic polypropylene were examined by polarization microphotography for texture and spherulite-layers as a function of the molding conditions. The moldings have at least six distinct layers including isotropic core in the surface region whose texture patterns differ from one another. Some intermediate layers between the skin and the core are influenced by the shear during the injection molding flow. The texture of injection molded polymer mainly depends on the resin- and mold-temperatures.
