抄録

Plasma polymerization of copper acetylacetonate (CuAA) was carried out under various conditionsincluding plasma power, plasma duration, monomer as well as substrate temperatures. The films ofpolymeric CuAA thus obtained was colorless transparent or showed a variety of colors such as yellow, green, blue, and red depending on plasma conditions. It was found that the color and appearance of the films aredetermined by the sum total of plasma and thermal energies. The structure and morphology of the filmswere investigated by use of electronic, infrared and X-ray photoelectron spectra as well as transmittanceelectron microscopy, As a result, it was revealed that the films have a higher-ordered structure consisting oforganic and metallic layers.
