Abstract
Personal air-conditioning system alleviates the human thermal-discomfort efficiently by cooling a human body partially. For evaluating the efficiency of a personal air-conditioning in terms of thermal comfort, it is required to define the thermal sensitivity of a human body in detail. This paper examines the local thermal-sensitivity of a human body in the case of using the personal air-conditioning system. In particular we describe the results of the subject experiment which was conducted with changing the wind-direction of the diffuser. As a result it was found that we had thermal-sensitivity in each part of the human body and it makes thermal sensation of whole body. And thermal sensation vote contributes to one of the whole body.
