Abstract
In this paper, we examine the relation between energy consumption of office buildings in 1999 and 2004 and the factors such as characteristics of buildings, use situation, and situation of equipments of office buildings. Next, we tried to predict energy consumption of office buildings by factors that could be expected to have an influence. Quantity theory cluster I was applied. As a result, in the prediction of all buildings, comparatively high multiple correlation coefficients about 0.6-0.65 were obtained, and about 0.7-0.75 were obtained also in the prediction of tenant buildings. In addition, partial regression coefficients of "density of workers" and "annual air conditioning time" were large in all cases, and their factors are expected to have strong influence.
