Abstract
<p>In this paper, we analyzed the accuracy of thermal load estimation using prior information and short-term measurement data of several buildings. The method classifies several parameters into 3 patterns according to availability and their relation to the thermal load. A Bayesian estimate is applied to the unknown parameters, which are then used as input data in thermal load calculation program. We calculated thermal load for three buildings in which thermal loads were measured. We examined the effect of investigating basic specifications of the building on the predicting accuracy.</p>
