抄録

The stress-strain relation of rubber was mesured accurately by using a self-recording tension tester which had photocells to follow the marks of dumbbell piece. The dynamic modulus was mesured by rheometer.<br>As the results, it was found that the stress-strain relation of SBR was diffrent from that of natural rubber, and that the modulus of SBR was greatly higher than that of natural rubber at low elongation, although the former was much lower than the latter at high elongation.<br>The number of crosslinks of SBR can not be calculated by simple static modulus, because of the deviation from static theory of elasticity. It was estimated from the Young′s modulus calculated from the linear part of stress: (α-1/α2) curve, where α indicated elongation ratio.<br>It was found that the dynamic modulus of the black compounds was very larger than statical one. From these facts, it seems that the forming of weak bonds between rubber and black relates linearly to the forming of strong bonds.
