Description
A bisacrylamide derivative of polytetramethylene ether glycol was prepared. A telechlic polymer containing two vinyl end groups was copolymerized with styrene (St), methyl acrylate (MA) or methacrylic acid (MAA). The test on the dynamic viscoelasticity showed that the glass transition temperature of the copolymer with St was much lower than that of poly-St. On the other hand, the copolymer with MAA had a low temperature dependency the storage compliance and had not the definite glass transition temperature. Moreover, the copolymer with MA was found to have a very low tensile strength.
