抄録

An improved thermister-type thermometer was inserted into the die cavity through one of the plunger holes of the Mooney viscometer, and the actual temperature of rubber samples during the testing was measured correctly.<br>The change of the temperature was traced continuously and found they could be approximately expressed as the exponential function of changing time, proving some relation with the thermal conductivity theory.<br>Some equations of scorch or cure time were derived by integrating the above mentioned temperature-time equation, and they can be used for determination of time-lag or correction of scorch time.<br>The corrected values of activation energy or temperature coefficient of vulcanization were obtained by the improved temperature-time correction method.
