抄録

Four SBR samples of different molecular weights (2.0×105-6.0×105) and one Polybutadiene sample were used to investigate the tensile stress relaxation behavior of raw rubber in the rubbery region. Temperature range examined was from room temperature up to 150°C.<br>A composite relaxation modulus curve was successfully obtained by means of the method of reduced variables for each sample.<br>The relaxation moduli for those samples, as well as the relaxation spectra and the steady-flow viscosities evaluated therefrom, showed the similar characteristics to those found for the amorphous polymers in general.<br>The shift factor, log aT, appeared to be well predicted by WLF equation.
