This report deals with the relation between the environmental stress cracking property and the other properties, such as density, contact angle to water, melt index, tensile strength, ultimate elongation and molecular structure of several kinds of commercial polyethylene.<br>By this study, following facts are almost clarified:<br>With the decrease of density and melt index the resistance for environmental stress cracking increases. And with the increase of contact angle to water, tensile strength, ultimate elongation and the content of methyl group, the resistance for environmental stress cracking increases.
