抄録

Using a Goodrich type flexometer, several anti-aging agents for rubber were investigated for their effectiveness or behavior, that is, the generated temperature, swelling, microscopic structure of a vulcanized natural rubber added with these agents under repeated dynamic compression or under 300% tension stress. The results show that the phenylendiaime base anti-aging agent as predicted effective as an anti-oxidant by Matsuda and Kurihara′s infrared absorption analysis is also effective under dynamic compression deterioration; its assumed good affinity to rubber appears physically favourable as a heat generation under repeated dynamic compression-it is seemed one of the factors retarding the oxidizing deterioration.
