Activation energy and temperature coefficient in the press vulcanization were obtained from measurements of Mooney Scorch time on three kinds of mixtures of natural rubbers. By assuming time lag to be 2 minutes both in the case of 5 point up and of 10 point up, logarithm of Scorch time was found to be in the linear relation with reciprocal of absolute temperature and theoretical formula of vulcanization slide rule could be applied. Consequently, it was known that measurements of Mooney Scorch time give activation energy much more efficiently than modulus method and vulcanization temperature coefficient calculated from activation energy resulted in smaller error in this case.
