抄録

The amount of SBR used in wire industry has been increasing. SBR has a difficulty that the processibility is not so good compared with NR. As electrical insulating SBR Compound requires most severe property, the processibility needs to be improved by plasticizer. As a result of the investigation of the chemical property of plasticizer, it was found that there is an interrelation between the property of SBR and V. G. C. value, aniline point and Rostler value of plasticizer. The prlasticizer possessing the following property proved to be most suitable.<br>V. G. C. Value about 0.8<br>Aniline Point above 50°C<br>Rostler Value<br>Nitrogen base below 10%<br>First acidaffin 10-15%<br>Second acidaffin 35-45%
