抄録
In this area, there are many submarine canyons and these canyons end in platform of 2000 m depth. Coarse sediments distribute along 1000 m depth curve.<BR>Bottom sample from continental slope were analyzed by the second author. The results are shown in table 1 and 2 which show a similarity of chemical compositions between blue mud on marginal sea bottom (Hamaguchi and others, 1953) and continental slope.
