抄録

In this paper, the photographic activity of enclosures to be used for storing photographs is examined. To estimate basical properties of archival enclosures, about 90 samples were tested by a proposed ISO method (DIS 10214 TC-42/WG-5).<BR>Approximately a quarter of the test samples met the criteria for archival storage capability.<BR>Moreover, on paper enclosures, it was found that the alkali reserve were not always a useful parameter to detect the suitability of enclosure.<BR>Further examination on the testing method should be required.
