Some organic films show a photo-induced change of charge-acceptance for a corona. The change can be utilized as an image memory, which is able to be read out by corona charging and to be transformed to the toner image as in electrophotography.<BR>In this review, the factors of determining charge-acceptance are discussed from the point of view of the electrical properties in the bulk and interfaces of the film, and the photo-induced memory effect (the charge-acceptance memory) appeared in literatures is surveyed on the basis of this discussion.
