Electron injection and charge recombination processes has been studied by means of transient absorption spectroscopy and time-resolved microwave conductivity method to understand primary processes in dye-sensitized solar cells. Electron injection efficiency has been discussed based on the energy gap between LUMO level of sensitizer dye and the bottom of conduction band of semiconductor. The effect of dye aggregation is also discussed. To identify the origin of slow charge recombination, temperature dependence on the recombination rate were examined. We found that charge recombination occurs through tunneling process between traps in the particle at lower temperature. We could also discuss chemical stability of sensitizer dyes on TiO2 particles through the analysis of transient absorption spectra.<br>
