Description

A canned-type permanent-magnet stepping motor having axially magnetized disk rotor is characterized by its high output torque. However, this type has problems with respect to the geometrical precision in axial direction and to the axial vibration of the rotor. We solved these problems and analyzed the essential difference between the axial type and the conventional radial type.
