Recently, in many industries the CAD/CAM system is used widely. However, it is difficult to apply CAD/CAM system to design tasks. This paper describes an application of CAD system to vlatch design, especially to a design check sub-system, which is able automatically to check profile of part in the drawing. By this system, our CAD system has grown powerful for new design tasks.
