<p>Usage of terminologies for information distribution in many professional areas will be extended in the future according to the technology development. In such situation, the terminology standardization inside and outside of our country are significant for our future information distribution activity. The terminology standardization in ISO/IEC/JTC 1 and ISO/TC 37 are overviewed. JTC 1 has been standardized the information technology. TC 37 activity includes translation and interpreting as well as their terminology. Standardization of the translation service and the interpreting service are under consideration in TC 37. SC 5/ TCG and also in Japan.</p>
