Description
<p>We found a novel A-and-B-site-ordered perovskite-structure oxide, CaCu3Fe2Re2O12, which was synthesized under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions. The compound has fully spin-polarized conduction electrons and is ferrimagnetic up to 560 K. Thus, the oxide will be potentially useful for spintronics. The crystal, magnetic, and electronic structures of the compound are reported. The observed high-magnetic transition temperature and large magnetization are discussed in terms of competing magnetic interactions in ordered perovskite structures.</p>
