Abstract

<p>Two-dimensional materials have large surface area, mechanical flexibility and specific electronic states, and are expected to be candidates for new electronic materials and catalyst materials. We recently found that by exchanging the magnesium cations of MgB2 with protons, hydrogen boride (HB) sheets composed of a composition ratio of H : B = 1 : 1 is formed. In this talk, the results about formation, characterization and properties of HB sheets will be presented.</p>
