Abstract
<p>With the progress of information technology (IT), consumers are now shopping not only at stores and supermarkets, but also at internet shopping. As a result, the volume of deliveries to homes and offices is increasing rapidly. This study clarified as follows. First, high-frequency purchased items such as food products are bought at stores, and low-frequency purchased items such as clothes are bought via the Internet. Second, the expansion of internet shopping has increased traffic for the delivery, and has also reduced person trip for shopping. Third, it is important to devise the receiving method and the receiving point of goods , in order to curb traffic for delivery.</p>
