We dealt with altitude sickness; danger spots on mountain trails; route guidance; volcanic eruption; severe weather; information exchange about mountaineering safety; and near-miss factors. As a result, the responsibilities and roles that each stakeholder should have showed different tendency against each factor of incident. In each factor, the responsibilities and roles differed among stakeholders. it is necessary to develop a cooperative system among these stakeholders corresponding to the characteristics of the factor by further research.</p>
