Abstract

Recently in France, the deterioration of housing stock in the private sector is one of the important issues for the housing policy. Several different definitions exist about the French concept of deteriorated housing. The background of any deterioration has begun to be considered a result of lack of management; hence, the French government has been constructing rehabilitation systems focused on management. These systems comprise various tools ranging from prevention against degradation to the elimination of ruined buildings. The tools include public supports and intervention by administrators from among the general public for the rehabilitation of the autonomy of a condominium.
