<p>義肢装具に関する介入研究は，使用者に対して義肢装具を使用した何らかの介入を行ってその結果を示すものである．介入研究は対象者1名のシングルケーススタディ，複数名のクロスオーバー研究，多人数のランダム化比較試験があり，それぞれに利点欠点がある．いずれの場合もある介入の効果を他の条件と比較して結果を示すものであり，介入の持ち越し効果（キャリーオーバー）や対象者のばらつきの影響を少なくするための工夫が必要である．本稿ではこれらの手法について具体例と最近の研究の紹介を交えて解説する．</p>
