Abstract
We carried out the Web questionary survey to clarify whether food loss increased by ordering an instagrammable dish for the purpose of posting its photograph on SNS, and leaving it.

As a result, 38% of people, that was thought more than half of SNS users, photographed a dish at the time of eating out and posted the photograph on SNS. The person who posted the photograph of the dish on SNS ordered a dish if photogenic. The persons who ordered a photogenic dish because of “super large serving”, “sharing with my follower”, or “getting Good on SNS” significantly had a big leftover frequency statistically in comparison with the person who did not take a photograph of dish or not post a photograph on SNS, and also in comparison with their everyday meal. As the availability of SNS is a tendency to increase, the leftovers may increase by ordering an instagrammable dish for the purpose of posting its photograph on SNS.
