<p>We developed a mobile robot with a high expansion camera arm using convex metric tapes. A webcam installed to the top of the robot recognizes human faces and the camera reaches the height of the faces using convex expansion mechanism. The robot detects the distance between the robot and the human using laser rangefinder to approach the human with a mobile robot. The robot can be controlled by human voice, so you’re able to control it from a faraway place. Those systems consist of RT Middleware which distributes architecture helps developers to reuse the robot elements and boosts the reliability of the robotic system.</p>
