Abstract
This paper describes effective curriculum for increasing student’s inquiry and traces how we have reformed and planned the curriculum. Especially, educational trials for the last decade are focused on and analysed factors which led meaningful outcome in upper grade projects. And we point out “Architecture Study and Practice” is the most characteristic subject for support of the curriculum. In addition, the description is shown into three parts as follows: the early stage of curriculum reform, current curriculum for lower grade and for upper grade. In recent years, curriculum for lower grade aims to bring out and educate “senses” for perception of real situation. On this stage, class lectures of basic discipline are regarded as cultivating process and thereby younger students are expected to acquire competency of comprehension from various perspectives. At the same time, students are provided experience of group works and some chances to get evaluation or exhibit their study outside of the college. On the other hand, curriculum for upper grade aims to execute social projects for trying out the “senses” and cultivating the comprehension community issues. Elder students are expected to tackle competitive fund projects or partnership projects supported by the “University Consortium of Ishikawa”
