Description

<p>The magazine named “To-yo” was first published in April 1901 by the Duke Atsumaro Konoe who was chairman of the House of Lords. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the historical role of this magazine. The feature of this magazine is an Asianism. The “Toyo” after the merger as “Nihon-shuho”, in particular, was published an editorial urging the Russo-Japanese war.</p>
