Abstract

M-theory is expected to be a candidate which lies behind various superstring theories and has the simplest and the fundamental structure. Recently, there was a rapid development on the internal symmetry of multiple M2-branes and its symmetry turned out to be closely related to Nambu-bracket, which has been known for long time as a mysterious dynamical system. It describes strongly coupled system in 2+1 dimensions through the duality with gravity.
