Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) has been researching terrestrial transmission for 8K Super Hi-Vision (8K SHV). In the actual SFN environment, we succeeded in carrying 8K SHV signals by using an advanced SFN technology and an 8K HEVC encoder/decoder.
