Abstract

<p>In this study, we present a position identification method based on a shape optimization method and a global optimization algorithm. The formulation of a position identification of a cavity is carried out the finite element and the adjoint variable methods. The optimal cavity position is obtained by the random tunneling algorithm. This paper shows results of the three dimensional identified cavity position.</p>
