- Fundamental Study on Fluid-Structure Interaction Analysis by Separated Coupled Analysis Tool preCICE

<p>The development of computers in recent years is remarkable, and the processing speed is improving day by day. Along with this, in the field of computational fluid dynamics(CFD), not only fluid analysis but also fluid-structure interaction(FSI) that simultaneously analyzes the behavior of a structure due to a fluid is being considered. So, in this research, FSI was performed using open source separated coupled analysis tool preCICE, the analysis result by each fluid solver(SU2,OpenFOAM) was compared and examined, and the problem suitable for each solver was examined. Also, from the change in analysis required time due to the number of processors used for each analysis, we will consider the improvement of calculation speed by the number of processors. Comparing the flow solver results, local pressure occurs near the structure at SU2 and the displacement is approximately doubled at OpenFOAM. Moreover, it was confirmed that the analysis required time became short with the increase of the number of processors used for analysis.</p>
