Description
This design work, a set of flip cards with round shapes, was researched and developed as a tool to facilitate a questionnaire survey for kids. We designed it based on the questionnaire flow chart structure. It is not easy for general questionnaire surveys using print forms to keep the motivation of kids and to change questions according to kid’s answers. In order to overcome these weaknesses, we designed “flip cards” which kids can turn over by themselves. Each card has one question and an indication to turn over a next card according to the answer of the question. We also verified the effectiveness of our flip cards with a prototype.<br>The “flip cards” can handle various types of responses such as single response, free response, and multiple responses as well. So “flip cards” can be applied in various research fields. It will be useful as a workshop for children and as a learning tool with quiz elements.
