<p>Background: The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is utilized broadly for measuring acute stroke deficits. Each NIHSS item's information demand helps with effective training on how to use it. This study aims to clarify the information demand on each item using the accesses to our NIHSS articles.</p><p>Method: Our NIHSS articles on the website were analyzed using web service analytics data.</p><p>Result: The total numbers of accesses for NIHSS items are 1a: 921, 1b: 540, 1c: 555, 2: 1.2 kilo (k), 3: 2.7k, 4: 844, 5-6: 1k, 7: 6k, 8: 808, 9: 784, 10: 719, 11: 10.3k. The numbers of viewers have read the entire story are 1a: 389, 1b: 206, 1c: 197, 2: 564, 3: 1.4k, 4: 299, 5-6: 517, 7: 1.8k, 8: 299, 9: 405, 10: 352, 11: 4.7k. The numbers from external source are 1a: 29%, 1b: 13%, 1c: 21%, 2: 44%, 3: 69%, 4: 41%, 5-6: 57%, 7: 86%, 8: 41%, 9: 24%, 10: 27%, 11: 92%.</p><p>Conclusion: The information demand on items 11 and 7 is very high. These are required data for instruction. Information that has analyzed a large volume of data may make education more effective in the future.</p>
