<p>Compared with “beauty” that has been talked about in the field of architecture, the word “KAKKOII” (=cool) has a meaning as an objection to the existing system. As the architectural theory of “KAKKOII”, I discussed about the quantification of the form and the sense, and aim to construct a new architectural theory from the latter. Furthermore, as the purpose of quantification of “KAKKOII”, I pointed out three possibilities: 1) creative discovery of the value of design, 2) a common language in which people can talk about design, and 3) a theory without an architectural theory.</p>
