<p>In the present study, a measurement technology of mutual diffusion coefficient of aqueous solution of VOSO4 in a polymer has been developed by using the infrared Soret forced Rayleigh scattering method (IR–SFRS). Aqueous solution of VOSO4 is used as an anode active material of vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB). For the preliminary experiment,bulk sample of an aqueous solution of 1.0 mol/L VOSO4 at 298 and 308 K was measured,and the optical signal was successfully detected.The applicability of proposed method for highly concentrated aqueous solution of VOSO4 was discussed.</p>
