Abstract

“Image-based Infrastructure Inspection” is to take a high-definition image of the inspection target and analyze the anomaly of the target captured in the image, which achieves same level as close-up visual inspection. Comparing with the conventional close-up visual inspection, this inspection method requires less work time at on-site, no dangerous aerial work, and the quality of inspection results is much higher. In order to support the inspection by this method, we provide a service to detect anomaly such as cracks and efflorescence from images using our original AI technology. In the future, if AI can be used in addition to anomaly detection, inspections will be further enhanced.
