Abstract

In this study, we conducted an experimental and analytical study to clarify the effect of aggregates coexisting with reactive aggregates on the Pessimum of ASR. As a result, it was confirmed that the ASR expansion and the Pessimum mixing rate depended on the type of coexisting aggregate even when the same reactive aggregate is used in the same amount. In addition, as a result of model simulation, when considering the mechanical performance of coexisting aggregates, the analysis accuracy is improved, and the reduction of ASR expansion due to ALA mixing is considered to be caused by not only mechanical performance of ALA but also alkali consumption by the ALA.
